SX3 hands down, shot a lot of ducks and geese with it.
And it never jams what ever you put in it.

I have the SX3 Flanigan, and find it soft shooting. I also happen to like higher ribs, like that on the SX3, or I might have chosen a Maxus.

I own a SX3 myself and would not hesitate to recommend the gun to anyone. I've had issues with the ultra-light target loads but everything else seems to work like a charm. I'd take just about anything over a Remington these days anyway...

That's a slam dunk. The SX3 is a superior auto. The Remington? Well it's a remington Remington has been floundering in the auto market for a long time and trying to regain thir name. Just not happining!

I also shoot an sx3.
I love it. Soft shooting. The remingtons just don't seem as popular.
Really I would be comparing a SX3 to a Maxus if I was you. I have no experience with the versa. But I love the SX3 if that means anything to you.

I'm looking right now as well. Hearing good things about the SX3 (which I gather is really just a Browning Silver dressed up in Winchester clothes). I discounted the Versa max because of the weight as I want to use the gun for upland too and don't want to lug around an 8 lb gun.

FWIW, My Browning Silver functions flawlessly with whatever I feed it, Ultra-light trap thru to
3 1/2"...it doesn't care

I just picked up the Super SX3 Waterfowl from WSS last night. 12ga 3 1/2" chamber in camo on sale for $1,159. Get one before they are gone!

Congrats! That's a nice model and for a cheap price. You'll be very happy with an SX3. Mine is the fancy coating and black parts but I wish I had the waterfowl version.
Enjoy!!!
