If you truly are a "severe asthmatic" you should be taking this very seriously as you fit into a pretty small group that does pretty poorly on a ventilator.....but I guess......

If it comes down to where Iam forced to wear a mask I will get me one custom made. It will feature a picture of sparkle socks and read " The real virus that is threatening canada"

Well if anything will happen it will keep the non maskers away from busier places. So I guess the masks are working.

No problem. Everything he said appears to be appropriate for what was known at that time.

Let me see here.
According to the video masks are useless and do nothing.
Yet medical professionals are wearing them on a daily basis.
Somethings a bit off I would say.

If by some unfortunate circumstance you find yourself in Edmonton and are challenged by some fascist bylaw officer, make sure you tell him that wearing a mask is nonsense and take your fine like a man. Only a beta cuck sheeple weeny would use the asthma excuse.

Only an idiot would accept a fine , when he meets the medical conditions that exempt him from the bylaw.

I'm allergic to everything I love. Cows, horses, haying etc. I also have asma. Anyway my tractor has no air conditioning. Baling greenfeed, after one short day my lungs where on fire and I had to quit. Next morning broke out in bubbles and was coughing some blood so that day a wore a covid mask baling and things went mucvh better although because of sweat the mask sticks to your face and is really uncomfortable with glasses.
I still hate the thoughts of wearing one in public.
I think we are all going to end up getting it. We will live or we will die. I think masks might just drag on things.
Can you imagine how it must be for a Muslim woman in a burka in all this heat. I dont know how they can work. Remember not so long ago the talk was about how dehumanizing it was for woman to be forced to cover up? We dont hear much about this anymore.

You city boys need to quit thinking that the whole world looks like where you live.

And if he carries medical documentation that proves his exemption, and he is still issued a ticket, he can sue the city . Then the taxpayers can pay for it.

I bet that with the amount of work that's going into masks these days there will be tons of people with "hay fever" like allergies that start to use specialty masks for high exposure activities like haying or cutting the grass. I wouldn't worry about wearing one in public; in a short time it will be the ones not wearing them that will be pariahs.

Who said anything about a card, a document from a doctor specifying his breathing issues, and how a mask could be an issue, should do.

So he has a legitimate reason that is supported by legislature, but since this doesn't fit your beliefs you begin name calling. Pretty sad when this forum is devolving to a subreddit.

I agree with what you said above. Im in my mid seventies and compromised and i feel like im just delaying the inevitable. Cant believe most of us wont get Covid eventually. In my case i already have a DNR in place. Not going to prolong things getting intubated.

My councillor also suggested i get a letter from the Doc. like some school kid,to show possible aggressive cop so i dont get ticketed and then have to go to court to prove i cant wear one. Exposing myself to even more Covid going to Docs. office and or Court etc. I suggested that having to show a letter to not get counted as guilty seems a bit Gestapo like to me. Haha now he wont email me directly anymore. His secretary now sends form letters instead. That man along with Iveson has lost my vote.
I can wear a mask by cheating so i will. I just simply lift the bottom at chin a wee bit occasionally to get some fresher air circulation when it gets to much of a struggle. Of course no doubt exposing myself to Covid by handling it and not really protecting anyone really.

So if your talking to me explain please.
Fortunately at my age ive learned to brush off arrogant remarks directed at me. But being as you set yourself up to be some kind of authority on all matters Covid have at her.
