A little bit of sweetener for the Flames. I think those white papers pinned to the seats are season ticket renewal reminders. Nothing like signing up after losing 6-2.

He has been playing well. Thing is, will he bring it when it is needed? I am hopeful he was embarrassed by his pathetic effort against the Oil. When Sean Monahan out does you in the physical end of things in a 2 game series, you need to do more than take a long look in the mirror. I hope he is on a incredibly short leash.

When looch is playing mean and physical it reflects on his scoring/points.
He can be a beast.
Just have to learn what it is that motivates him I guess.
When he’s not playing mean, players sense it and take advantage of it.
When he’s being a beast, players sense that too and in return they give him a lot more room and will shy away from being in a corner with him or over doing it in front of the net trying to remove him.
For flames sake, I hope he’s on a mission and produces results for you.
As an Oiler fan I hope it passes soon and he goes back to watching shiny trinkets in the grand stands.

Lucic has more points last night than Neal has scored in all of 2020

I don't get the Yelesin call up. We've been playing great, why fiddle with the lines. Think I'd rather have Davidson with Yelesin and send down Stone if they must be tinkered with.

Excellent. Now the Oilers just have to keep Neal in the press box on ltir. Open some cap space and deny the 3rd rounder to Cgy.

Don't think so, looks like the pairings are:
Noah Hanifin - Rasmus Andersson
TJ Brodie - Michael Stone
Oliver Kylington - Alexander Yelesin

Some random thoughts...Just finished watching the Boston game. Some impressive stats from a team I don't really like, better since Campbell isn't there anymore though.
-Haven't lost to an eastern team at home this year;
-Rask hasn't lost at home; and,
-Crazy with Bouwmeister being revived on the bench. I thought he just passed out or something, but read they actually used the defibrillator on him. Crazy.
Go Flames!

Speaking of the east, and the back and forth between the flame and Oiler fans. Did you know neither team. Actually, the whole pacific division would not be in a playoff spot in the east. They are just not good teams.

We don't cheer for them because they are 'good'. We cheer for them because we are Albertans, and they are our teams. Same as we would cheer for our kid's team, whether they are winning or getting whipped. We love the game. Sometimes it pains us. For years at a time. That's what a fan does.
Now go on, shove off ^, that's a good chap.
Anyway, watching the game....why are they struggling with such a bottom feeder team? Again? I truly don't get it.

Is the ice soft and it really warm in there? Haven't seen that many sticking/bouncing pucks, bad passes, etc., from both teams, for quite some time. Nine give away combined in the 1st. Against Vancouver, there were 8 for the whole game.

It's bad ice. Staples Center hosts so many events, basketball and concerts. Combine with warm climate, and the ice is never really good. Lakers played Suns there two nights ago, not sure if there was anything last night. But yeah. Warm soft bouncy puck ice.

Does Johnny know any other break away move then 5 hole? Gawd......every goalie in the league and anybody who watches the game knows already he is gonna try 5 hole. Jeez, just for once, maybe try that snazzy Tkachuk through the legs thing. Seems to work.

That makes two of us, They are brutal and for some reason every time we play them it's a struggle. Should be easy points and they are up on up on us what 2-1 games. UGH
Looch and MacDermid have a go, figured they might, Looch gave him a big hit in the first.
