Default Rage Broadheads

Has anyone shot deer with the 2 blade rage head? I bought some but I doubt I will use them, they look cheap and brittle. The tips of the bh have nics in them and the blades look dull. I know tons of guys love them though

I've shot a bull and 4 deer with them. Huge holes. I also shot an elk in the shoulder blade ... not much for bone penetration.

They hit exactly where you're aiming and they leave a huge hole and a massive blood trail. What more could you ask from your broadhead? Last season I killed a P&Y velvet buck and a doe with them. You can probably guess what I'll be putting on my arrows this year!

Very True.... They are garbage when you shoot a bow over 300fps.9 out of 10 will open with in the first thirty yards of hitting its target. They are IMO the worst broadhead out there.

I started using them last year but haven't shot an big game animal with them yet.
All of my crazed bow hunting buddies in Wisconsin/Illinois/Iowa swear by them.

Shot my bear with them this spring. Worked perfectly. Huge hole and massive blood trail. I'm gonna be shootin' them again this fall for sure. To each their own I guess.

From what I have seen and read I would not use them. I use slick trick fixed blades but have had success using Grim Reaper Razor Tips Mechanicals.

Mechanical Test

Angled Plywood Test
