Default loads for 280 REM?

Just wondering is anyone wants to share some different ideas for some loads and what they use for primers, powder, etc. I want to load up some 120gr and 139 gr. hornady. A little advice on some loads to start with would be greatly appriciated.

139's 50-55 of either 4350, Lr primers.
Work up in 1/2gr. steps looking for accuracy.

Yep 53.7gr of IMR 4350, CCI 200 primer, Hornady 139gr SST's, OAL 3.330 works great for me in my 280. start low with your powder though!

4831 would be another powder to consider for both the bullet weights you are interested in.

When I had mine, I used a bunch of different loads through the years. Almost always IMR 4350 Powder, Rem. cases & shooting 139 Hornady BTSP, 140 Interbonds & 140 XBT. It was a very accurate Custom & shot almost everything I fed it.

Default .280 Loads

The best load i have used in .280/ 53gr H4831 and 150gr BT Noslers, have shot under 1/2 inch, I use this load for whitetails, but I use same powder and 150gr Nosler Partitions for moose with lots of 4831 go up slowly groups will be a little bigger just over 1/2"
good luck
