Default 300wsm

Looking To Start Reloading For My 300wsm Just Wondering If Anyone Has Ideas For What Is A Good Powder And The Amount They Have Being Using. I Would Like To Try And Stay With The 180 Accubond Bullet But Am Open To Suggestions There As Well
An Advise Would Be Greatly Helpful.

Pretty much any of the slow burning powders will give good results with the 300 WSM. IMR 4831, H4831, RL 19, RL 22... there are lots of them. In all honesty though, getting reloading information from an Internet chat board probably isn't the safest thing to do. You'd be far better off with a couple of good reloading manuals, or at least getting the info from the powder manufacturer's website.

Your choice of bullets is a good one. I like the Barnes TSX as well.

In the two 300 wsm's that I owned/own-both like imr4350 the best while using 180 accubonds.

Accubonds and I am using IMR 4350 68 gr only thing I went 165gr on the bullet this is in a Mod 70 Coyote Lite in 300wsm 3170 fps average ?

Also great performance with the 168 gr Barnes TSX Match grade if you think the Accubonds are pricey.

If you shoot ballistic tips the design and BC are very close with the accubonds so load both the same, shoot the BTs for cheap foder and the ABs for the real deal. Just MHOP

165 have more energy than the 180s at 600 according to the calculator as if that maters.

"You'd be far better off with a couple of good reloading manuals, or at least getting the info from the powder manufacturer's website." Quote from Scott N good advise at least compare load data with good referances when you get it from guys like me.

Default Reloading 300WSM

Great choice on bullet. For powders Retumbo, H-1000, RL22. My 270WSM's love Retumbo and my 300WM loves RL22.

My buddy reloads for his 300WSM with 180gr AB's. I'll find out what he uses and let you know.

My 300WSM showed great affection for either 4350, as well as IMR 4831.
150's and 165's
