Default Thompson Center Encore

Don't know how I missed this but I just looked at a TC w/ the interchangable barrels today (Thought it was just another muzzeloader). Looks like a pretty neat system to me! Any thoughts on them?

One plus I can see is when the wife asks "Did you buy ANOTHER new gun ?) I could honestly say "NO JUST A NEW BARREL! )

The T/C Encore is a neat system and I have considered this route. But they are not cheap nor perfect. If you do a google search you'll find lots of comments both pro and con.

I've got several and ya, they are great guns. The versatility is nice and zero holds when you change barrels.

If your looking to buy one-look at S I R-their prices are over $120 cheaper than the Russell's. But whether they have any in stock I'm not sure.
