Saturday evening is going to be the Mother of all battles for 2019. The darlings of the Pacific division will meet the slum dweller Oilers...As Ed Whalen would have said..We're going to have a ring-a-ding-dong-dandy

Noticed Oilers have a couple days off before this game and Flames second game in a back to back.. Didn't this happen last time as well???

Flames also played 6 games in a row with teams on the end of a back to back earlier in the season.

Crazy lineup of scorers tonight. Funny this after Hitch brought up I think 4 players accounted for like 71% of all Oilers goals. Coincidence or the push some of these guys needed??

He's trying to catch up to James Neal. Lofty goal but hey..

That is a pretty low bar for sure...he is quote the dud.

It is kind of too bad Looch used up half a season worth of goals on a game they were already winning though. He probably should have saved those for a game they were losing and cashed in then.

I think you guys will win this weekend. Were on a run right now but all good things come to an end, and the Oilers have momentum from the win last night where they got scoring from unlikely sources. That energy carries inton tomorrows game with the Canucks and then keeeps rolling into the weekend.

Calgary plays Buffalo tomorrow, they will be angry. Then we play Detroit and Edmonton back to back. Smith will play one of those, hopefully Detroit and he doesnt end up being pulled. Not an excuse, just facts.

Oilers can't be looking that far ahead. They are still trying to win two in a row in quite some time.

Well the fans are drawing up strategic plans on who will pass the cup to who. I think looking forward 4 days is acceptable lol. They are feeling it now, 7-2 is a big win especiallly when you consider who got points. Going to be a good game this weekend.

My oilers were plain lucky to win last night. Played terrible. They allowed Koskinen to be peppered with 40 shots while producing 15 less for themselves. Better turn that around or it will be a mighty short streak.

Agreed, it was an ugly win for sure! But still a win and 2 points, keeps us in the hunt.
