Need 24 lbs total for free shipping and there is also a 1 time hazmat fee. If there are primers ordered they are shipped separate from the powder and will incur extra fees and shipping .

Higginson is getting waiting on another big powder order, Andrew said it should be here in a few weeks.

I'm late in this thread, but just so you know ....... When doing bulk orders from Higginson they will allow each buyer to order and pay separately over the phone. Once the order is complete it will be sent to one address and then can be split up.

This makes it very easy as each orders their own and pays in advance so as no one person has to pay for the whole order or gets left holding the bag when someone changes their mind and goes missing after the fact.

Me thinks we should do this before more regs get rolled out.

Canada Ammo has 4895, 4064sc and now 4350 in stock. Great powder, good prices and free shipping.

Whatever became of this?
If I were to purchase some of the D4895 from Canada ammo, other than the prudent practice of start reduced and work up, what can I expect to notice different from my use of H4895?
I’ve read opinions on other forums but trust some of the people here quite a bit more.
Can I still expect consistency and temp stability once I cook up a new load?
(I more so care about predictability of change in velocity in temp change than stability as far as remaining level velocity in temp change)

I am using D4064SSC because of the unavailability of IMR4064. I saw the warning on the label. That's just to appease the lawyers. If anything, the Dominion 4064 is exactly the same as the IMR branded stuff. In my rifles (disclaimer ;-) )

BTW, I'd love to do a bulk order. I could probably order 80# of assorted powders. The problem is....no one has the powders that I want.

Good to know.
It’s pretty much the same warning as getting a new lot number of the same powder you’ve used. But 10% is more than anything I’ve heard of people loading as a general practice.
Is the IMR temp stable at all in comparison to hodgdon extreme? It seems they tried to put the Enduron out as their extreme line, no?
How would IMR compare to like a reloder 15? I find hot temps spike that velocity (pressure too) but if I’m not over max charge, it’s a nice predictable gain and I can adjust for it. Haven’t really fired it in sub-0 testing though
