Im heading up to upper Kanaskis on a fishing trip for the August long weekend. Im just wonder how the fishing is up there at the moment, I hear there are some monster bull trout in the lake and I would love to catch one.
We have rented a boat for this excursion, I fly fish and spin cast. I just wondering how the fishing is.
Oh and anouther question To troll with rapalas do you just tie one on and pull it behind the boat or do you have to do somthing else to the line.
Saw 2 bulls pulled today, one around 20" one around 26" or so. Cpl smaller rainbows, and two cutties which I didn't see. Man do those bulls ever put up a fight.
I was by the first stream if you follow the path along the lake from the furthest parking lot. Seemed to be good action with guys using bobbers/flies and just fly fishing.
