Default Big Horn Dam fishing?

Has anyone had any experience fishing the North Saskatchewan River downstream from Abraham Lake and the Big Horn Dam Site? We spend a lot of time down there quading and camping.

There arnt too many fish near the dam site I think the crazy water fluctuations push them farther down stream. I've never seen anyone pull a fish out neat the dam. Lots of good lakes near by though, gold eye, fish lake, even the nordegg pits are decent for a stocked pond.
