Default Every have one of those weekends??

Heh well I did! First off.. Rain all Friday and Saturday... No breaks what so ever! Sunday the sun comes out and boom! A flat tire.. A dead boat battery... Finally get that all sorted out and hit the lake! Get the rod out.. And it's broken right in the middle... It's a brand new rod! Never been used! And it's broken.. Switch out rods.. Drop the line.. Get my first solid bite.. And the lure slips off the line.. Line didn't break.. I must a messed up a knot.. Ugh... So... I set up the next lure.. Drop the line... Reel in and oh holy cow... It gets tangled in the reel... Cut out the mess and I have 15ft left.. At that time decided it just wasn't mention to be and head back to shore for some qua ding instead.. Hope your weekend went a lot smoother then mine. .

I would of traded you weekends in a heart beat. I had to go to my daughters wedding, here's the catch we were not allowed to have anything to do with the wedding. We weren't even acknowledged as her parents during the speaches, broke my wifes heart.

Default Dogs and Kid

Two puking dogs and it was raining too much to put them outside.

My daughter was sick too, just out the other end.

i get one of those weekends yearly. long stories on mine. last years ended up being on spray lake: 100+ feet of braid lost on my reel by the gf, while i was setting up her rod, within the first 5 min on boat. Lost line resulted in me breaking my favorite rod when the line got snagged on the backing while casting. Find out that my gas tank had a leak in it with not enough gas to get back. rowing for 3 hours. pulling boat along shore for 2. ditch the boat. walk along the trail highlighted for grizzly activity that week for 45 min. douchebag campsite supervisor who gave us nothing but trouble over having a bad day. 1 lost 10lb propane bottle. a night of no sleep cause we had to goto town to get gas and only managed one missed bite the entire weekend. not to mention almost capsizing on the spray lake squalls......

this years is still too fresh to talk about... Kokanee 9 was fortunate enough to be there. It wasnt that bad of a weekend. started out amazing. then slowly tapered downhill like a steep escalator to hell.
