Default Beautiful day at the river

Headed back to where I got my biggest sturgeon yesterday, spend a hot 11 hours at the river, not a cloud in the sky and just the odd little breeze. The bite was pretty slow, but I managed 18 fish, mostly goldeye and mooneye, with a few suckers and a little walter . great day to be not working!

Skinny dippers

Goldeye, man these things fight, if they got as big as sturgeon I am thinking they would outfight them too.

Redhorse, got some nasty ulcers or something

Mooneye

yah its a leopard, I find them around here every summer, and report them to the guy who researches them. theres a stream they breed in up by Bow City, and a lot make their way down the river, until the predators get them.
