Trail cams - when and how many?

I love getting pics off my cameras. Its like Christmas morning when you were a kid...not knowing what you would get. Sometimes you didn't get what you ask for and other years you got it all.

The last couple of years I haven't put out all my cameras for what ever reasons, Wildfire or just not enough time. But with a couple of nice bucks on my recent pics I'm going to put out my cameras this season.

When do you put out your cameras?

How many do you put up in a certain area? I have access to a couple of 1/4 sections ( sole permission). How many cameras are enough for a 1/4 section for example?

Any other camera tips for set up?
