Shore fishing Yukon for seniors

A friend and me are heading up to Whitehorse in a couple weeks to see an old fishing buddy. He is in a wheelchair, and my friend is on oxygen. Any places we can get very close to shore fishing ( rivers or lakes )
Will be stopping for breaks along the way half hour here and there.
Mostly around Whitehorse.
