Default Athapapuskow Lake

Well just got back from Bakers Narrows Lodge and simply put again it was awesome. We had great weather, awesome fishing, I mean catching, and a very nice place to call home for a week. Staff and accommodations was top notch.
Six days on the water averaging nine hours each day had us catching well over a hundred fish a day.
We decided to put the effort into big pike mostly this trip. We did catch a few lakers on both the little lake and big lake but left them alone for the most part.
By day four we found three areas that produced big fish so we just rotated through these areas but also did a lot of checking other areas out too.
Funny how the big pike were hitting small lures and big lures too, fast presentations or slow just kept us busy. Nice having three people tossing different types of lures to see what they liked then switch up accordingly.

Now to book for April ice fishing and target big lakers!!!

Now that's what I dream of. Those toothy critters of at least that size. Good job. Love the bait size especially the one in the mouth. Looks like a moment in time to relish. Will be hunting them next year as well as Musky in Lac Seul (If Smoky gets mybaits made LOL) Thanks for sharing
Oh ya the fire is good. Needs my touch. Just like the fish....Bigger better
