Default Fishing Safety

Hey guys & gals.

Weather still beautiful, people trying to get the last fall bite in.

Please remember the water is cooling down, a flip out of a boat or a slip off the bank & a guy's in trouble.

Enjoy what's left of the soft water, but please stay safe!

Hmmm, nothing like getting wet like this guy the other day on the bar 20 miles up the coast.

He’s idiot number one if anyone wants to see how to stick the landing.

As the weather cools people wear more clothes, and without a life jacket, it's much harder to swim to safety. I carry only inflatable pfds in my boat, so that they are much more comfortable, and everyone actually wears them.

Looks like some lessons were learned that day… what an art to time the exit out from shore between these waves.

Well that adds new meaning to "spearing a wave". Why am I not surprised you guys would do it backwards down under?

Rookie move, me thinks No matter. It happens in smaller waves. Know your boat and the limits. At least not a sideways dunk and fill.
