Is there any fish in that lake still,it got fished out years ago but might have come back
I used to fish there in the 80s and the 90s
We used to back out trucks into the lake to launch our boats ,no atv needed
Not the best boat launch but helps if you have a 4x4 truck or suv
It has about 4 manmade camping spots about 40 yards from the boat launch might be more now . There is another lake just behind it, called little goods .
back then to get to it you go left in your boat from the launch to the narrows to the bay where good walleye fishing is in spring. Anyways at the narrows there is an atv trail that takes you to little gods .I heard its maybe 1 km away .
Sometimes the narrows are shallow and guys would drive the trail from camp to it and drive across the lake with atv to little gods or walk across .
there are other cool lakes in the area that have never been fished that i found when bear hunting I always wish i had a rod with me . Its kinda of straight south of Gods maybe 10 - 20 km . Pm me if you want directions to it .

Lol I just goggled mapped Gods Lake . Kinda of the top left corner of the lake you can see a holiday trailer in a camp stall and a boat in the launch area .

Round lake is a much nicer for camping in . It used to be a real good walleye lake years ago .

we used to go there in the late 80's too. The SW corner there's what lokes like a nice grass field for a picnic. Not so much Turned out to be all rose bushes and thistles. Old trappers cabin there and we found a couple graves too.
We took the argo into little gods, spanked the perch in there!

Yes we did. Should have been dad's Black and Silver Ford with a Springbok on top.

Back in the 80's when I was a young boy, we went to Goosegrass lake (just up a little further). I can remember catching countless pike, one after another, in virtually any place on that little lake and some really nice ones too.

I often wonder if those lakes were still any good after all these years.

Last time I was there (in a 2wd) we got stuck bad. Was a very wet year though.

4x4, chains and winch might get you in, but that usually means needing all of em and probably better to take the ATV

Fall Index Netting reports are your friend. BTW, "Little God's Lake" is properly called Hebephrenic Lake.
