Duck hunting areas

So I have recently started duck hunting with a guy that's out from out east he has everything but we don't really know where to go half decent from Edmonton. We have been going to this one place but no decoys or blinds are allowed. Wondering if anyone knows a lake or swamp area that is crown land you could you decoys at?

No decoys allowed? havent heard that one yet. I could also understand no pit blinds, but no layouts either?

Just start driving around scouting. You'll find a field of bird soon enough. Get permission, ask what the rules are and give it a go.
