I've taken only 3 bears. In the last 16 yrs. 2 years ago I got my biggest. He was solid black. And. 21 5/8 skull. Still waiting for rug to come home. He measured 8' 2'' 6yrs of watching him grow. 8yrds with my bow. Tonnes out there. Happy hunting

Im at work for the next couple weeks before I can make it out but my uncle and Gboe8 checked the baits this morning and 2 hit hard. They're sitting on the baits tonight. If they get one i'll post pics

Frogs started croaking last evening bout 7:00 minutes later swatted three mosquitoes...they will be out heavy now...

Good pics but I would be hesitant to post such a photo where F&W GUYS CAN SEE IT . Letting them know grizz are in your baiting zone is a good way to get it shut down .For your sake I also hope he doesn't come back to your bait sites , but would be willing to bet he does .Good luck and stay safe .

On the regulations website it says:
Each bait site must have a readily observable sign legibly showing the owner's name, WIN, Big Game Outfitter-guide permit number, or Big Game Guide Designation Number.

Does that mean you cannot bait unless you are a guide? Not fully understanding it. Thanks

Don't have to be a guide or outfitter to bait , the law is just stating that signing the bait applies to them too .

Set up bait this last saturday, seems to be a pretty prime spot hopefully will be sucsessful.

Default Baiting 2015

1 stand hit by cougar, 1 by bear, no bear pics, cam in place now on that bait. Think the snow hit and put bear back to sleep.
This cougar can go away though.

Soon they will be hot N heavy...frogs and mosquitoes mean bears...first mostly three year old males and sows...watch for cubs!!!

Saw some pics of a nice Cinnamon phase bear at one of our shooters and neighbors place this week...the bear came right up to the padio for a look...this is near wainwright...so if they are out here searching for food!!!......

My baits hit hard there's one boar I've got my eye on he came in downwind last night and circled the bait and left.
