Default 375 H&H with 250gn TTSX - Reload Info

After having only 'ok' results with the 260gn Accubond, I've swapped out to the 250gn TTSX. Loaded with 73.5 to 77.5 grains of Reloader 15, based on data from the 235 and 270 grain bullets from Barnes #4.

Has anyone else been shooting these yet? Max load for the 235gn is shown at 80.5 and max for the 270 at 77 grains. Depending how initial results end up, I would plan to be working up to about 78.5-79 grains as a 'book' max, does this seem in line? Of course, rifle will ultimately dictate it's max, but just want to stay within reason.

Haven't had a chance to shoot these yet, but hopefully get out next weekend to do some load testing.

I think your loads look right. You will like that bullet if your gun shoots it accurately. I want to try the 300gr TTSX in 458 in my win mag. Should be a blast

Theres a lot of new interesting bullets hiting the market.. 1 that caught my attention is the Sierra 350gr BTHP for long range .375 calibers like the 375 Saturn, 378 weatherby and 375 rum.. look like a sick bullet with high BC !!!!!

Im really happy barnes made a ttsx for the 375 and 458.. insane...but need a 500gr TTSX for my 460 weatherby now...

Finally got out and played around with these some. Here's some velocities, in the event anyone else is searching this info.

73.5gn - avg 2695fps

74.5gn - avg 2745fps

75.5gn - avg 2785fps

76.5gn - avg 2801fps

77gn - avg 2833fps

Showed no signs of pressure up to this point. With good accuracy here, didn't see a real need to push this one much harder.

Of course, these loads worked in my rifle, not yours.... Info for reference only!
