fishing is always OK for small pike. I can't confirm anything else swims those waters. Saw a huge dead burbot at shore one time.

Let us know how it went.

MAssive Trout. my buddy jeremy hooks into a decent trout once inawhile there. There Huge bow and bigger browns in there and pike in the high teens. havent seen any pike over 20 there though.
you can see the trout rising from the top of the hill

only ever fished there in the evening, I've caught mainly pike from shore on a variety of things, smelts, spoons, rapala's. Every now and then you can catch a trout or 2, they are normally 3-4 pounds when you catch them but they don't seem to be all that common at least from what seen around there.

i go on the south east side

edit:

theres also a rocky dropoff with the weeds on the bottom are great for biggest pike they sit in the weeds and wait for baitfish. i use gliding raps there. and my buddy uses smelts. he usaly ends up with more fish...
the trout are far out.
the elbow right beside it has great trout fishing but not even nearly as good as the bow.

all over is good but not great its kinda a hit and miss generaly for the most part with out wading / or watercrafts

a bird put a rumor in my ear that there are some monsters (browns + pike) that hang out near the glenmore bridge of the res. Any truth to this? Anyone care to meet up if so, and test our luck?

Call me addicted, but I've found an amazing new pass time in fishing and love it

My fishing buddy told me today the fishing here at night has been great.

silvers86, try a smelt at that location. It's a rocky area where burbot hang out.
