25 years ago I lost my original buffalo skinner out by Meekwap lake NW of fox Creek. If you found it that would be amazing.

I had a grohmann knife plucked out of it sheath by the attached rawhide tie. I imagine it is hanging from a bush somewhere in zone 936.
I now remove the rawhide tie.

In 2017, I high centered my truck in snow overlooking the Hotchkiss river north of manning. When crawling under to shovel it out, I lost my folding Laguiole knife in the snow. Didn't notice it missing until back at the cabin, and it snowed that night, never found it. I liked that knife, but not sure if worth the 100 euros.

Went out with a friend last weekend in the Sibbald flats area and he lost his spycerco folder. We looked for it all day and to no avail.

Not losing a knife would make you unusual. Among my losses are one to Homeland Security.

I’ve lost a few over the years.

Maybe a location would narrow it down a bit.

My daughter lost the Buck knife I bought for her first hunting trip. In 328 north of Jackfish Lake, either behind a fallen log uphill from the small lick near where the road used to end, or on the flats by the river where we camped, not far from the small lick

Lost my grandfathers skinning knife south of Edson on the fickle lake road in a cut block. It was a sheath knife like a German Puma skinner knife...

Keep guessing guys!!! Eventually someone is gonna guess the right type of knife and right general location. Any knife I have lost has been in Saskatchewan so I think I’m out of the running as the OP can’t be hunting in Sask because it’s almost impossible to draw a tag there if from out of province.

Don’t feel bad at least you lost it using it. I avoided using my grandfathers knife for fear of loosing it and then it was stolen from under my bed while I was out of town.

Kind of surprised how many guys have lost a knife. Would be really cool if this turns out to be a knife lost by an AO reader quite some time ago. I have worn out a couple and I have had to walk back quite a few miles to retrieve a knife but I have never lost one outright, yet. So I know it isn't mine.

Especially if it was lost a few years back!
