Ponoka F&G Turkey Shoot

Hi All,
Ponoka Fish and Game Trap Club is hosting it's second annual Ham and Turkey shoot on September 29 1pm SHARP. The event is held at the PFG range at Lake Poofianga.The shoot is structured so anybody could win a ham or turkey and not just the top shots.I believe there are 10 turkeys and 10 hams up for grabs.After the shoot, a Bbq will be held,tickets for the BBQ are $25.00 each and are limited to just 60 places.

Well that sounds like a good time too bad I’m away at work until the 30th. Maybe next year will work out that I’m home when this event is on again. I haven’t been to a good old turkey shoot in probably 25 years. They are a blast.

for those that asked....BBQ whole hog is on the menu,all you can eat as well as corn on the cob,smoked pickles,salads etc.
