Default Fox problem

I have never trapped before but I have a huge fox problem. Can someone give me some ideas on how to trap them. Is it possible to trap them with a live trap? The area has a lot of cottages so I am looking for a way other than shooting them.

Fox being a fur bearing animal, it has a trapping season and you'll need a trappers license. live trapping would probably eliminate these hurdles, but whose yard ya goin to drop it off at? Contact the county and see if they have a pests control officer. all other suggestions I can think of aint legalesh

If this is on your own property Then have at her! That,s your right to use whatever to get rid of them. AS far as trapping OFF your property , it,s a NO !UNLESS you are doing it for your employer who owns the property .

You can trap them your self by using a #1.5 Coil spring soft catch, or get a trapper to trap the fox. As for the trapping permit you can get a damage control permit it is free.

snares would probably be your best bet, if you want to trap/ shoot them at a den site use an attractor to make sure they are gonna be home if you skin a dead fox put it in a bucket of spring water for 2 days then remove the scent gland and leave in the bucket for a further 2 days pour some of the water into a spray bottle then you have a really foxy smelling attractant that ill act as calling card for foxes

Dig a deep hole about 4 feet deep, fill the hole with old ash trees. Burn the ash trees real good. The Fox will come by to see what is in the hole. Get behind the Fox and kick him in the ash hole!
