After many trips to Home Depot I built a landing and a flight of stairs coming off my back deck. Managed to sight in my bow with new 5mm fmj arrows too.

Still farming. Should be done next weekend. Then I'll go bear hunting for a couple days.

Friday morning our washing machine piled up filling the house with smoke. So had to go shopping for a new washer and dryer and spent $1500 I would rather have not spent.

Saturday morning changed the oil on my wife's Honda Fit. Looked under and drivers side stabilizer link bar had sheared off and was hanging down so had to source parts for both sides and change corroded suspension parts outside with just small hand tools-Good times-More money spent

Monday my buddy talked me into borrowing his swanky stand up Weeder to tackle my dandelions. On the fifth dandelion one of 3 tines snapped off rendering the weeder close to useless. So I had to drive to hardware store last night and replace his weeder. More money spent and now he owns a new weeder and I am the proud owner of a near useless broken weeder.

Yay me.

Not all bad though.

Sunday drove out to my favorite pheasant farm for coffee and some story telling and came home with an embarrassment of eggy riches.
Awesome-But Then........

On the way home a few km West of Langdon I heard some horrible squealing from my serpentine belt and had to pull over and after some trouble shooting with a small pry bar determined that the bearing is going on my belt tensioner pulley. Car is parked now at home till I can get a new pulley. More money and some degree of WTF. What next???

Thank god the weekend is OVER.

I have a new appreciation for Tuesdays

Didn't go camping but took out the " New to us" boat on Saturday and Sunday at Shaws Point. Beautiful weather. New experience for us with the boat.

Did some fishing - my youngest boy out-fished everyone. He was the only one to catch some walleys. One good keeper on Saturday and he caught some smaller ones the next day.

Then the "Honey-DO - List" on Monday. But that's ok. Happy Wife Happy life.

Best thing on Monday night was watching the last half of the third period and Nashville knocking out Anaheim, and going to bed earlier...lol

Went camping with a bunch of friends out by Whitcourt. Quadded our usual trails near the mountain, didn't make it to the crater this trip. 2 machines were acting up, stator on one and 4x4 on mine, so we stayed pretty close.
Got to try out my clay pigeon thrower! That was a lot of fun. The 2 small boys had a great time shooting up the larger left-over pieces with the bb guns after grown up time was done.
Note to self, need more than 2 boxes of shells (and a sissy pad!) next time!

Default May long

Worked out at my shop for a few hours (I seem to get waaaaay more work done when not tripping around staff). Did all the yard work, moved a batch of pheasant chicks (first hatch) out to the family farm, and then roto tilled the flight pens before seeding more weeds and hemp for fresh cover.
Released about 60 head of mixed pheasants from my breading stock into the wild. Hopefully not all of them will become food for the over-abundant owls, and maybe even a few will decide to find a spot to lay a few eggs.
I did find time to go out to a freinds and join them in a few rounds of trap shooting. Getting geared up for the Brian Burke "Clays for Kids" shoot in a few weeks.
Other then that, nothing
