Default IQ Single Pin - I wish!

I'm a fan of the IQ sights but I wish they made a single pin sight. I was wondering whether there is an alternative system?

Yes there is....find a No Peep....and use any sight you want with it, or buy an Anchor Sight and use any sight you want with it.

Timberline made the No Peep, then IQ bought them and the patent to the information.

The "No Peep" will be near impossible to find...check eBay the going rate should be around $45....IF you can find one.

anchor sight. It's better than the IQ anyway because it has magnification.

I have a no peep I think. I'd be willing to sell, but I'd recommend the anchor sight.

Or simply get your single pin sight and learn to shoot without any type of peep...its easier than most think...

For some Eliminating the peep will eliminate many issues such as...
peep twist...damaged strings [I will get several bows every year with strings broken at peep...mostly from improperly installed or adjusted peep sights]...low light vision...blocked vision [snow rain debris etc] ...moved peeps etc...

Now dont get me wrong...peeps are a huge asset for many and even for some nessasary...

However for the majority it is not a nessasary tool for shooting...most are just skeeered to try without it...

Many will be as acctarte without one and some even more accurate and consistant...

The KEY to shooting without a peep is solid anchors...

I have three...a Komfort kiss kisser button...the cup between my thumb and index finger or my release hand solidly tucked into my jaw and string touching my face...all which far into place on draw without needing to think about it ...

For the right hand shooter right eye dominant...the shooter brings string to face and looks/sights target on right side of string with right eye...so shooter will be looking on right side of string when bow is drawn between string and cables...

One doesnt see string or cable...eye sight line close to string but wide open vision...with clear sight ring and pin view...

Since impossible to focus on two things at once we always... peep or not ...focus on our target and bring pin to X in our perphial vision...the further the sight is from bow or riser the clearer pins appear.

That factor brings target clear as we pick a spot...strings and other factors are not seen other than pin On X

Aim small ...Miss small ...Pick a Spot

Now I have shot two triple Robin hoods with three consecitve arrows using the Ugly Cookie [WB] and no peep...impossible they say...

I like to prove them wrong and get lucky now and again...LOL

JMHO

I like the no peep (or equivalent) as it immediately shows form issues. For hunting it is very valuable as your form changes from sitting, kneeling, shooting from a tree stand, etc.

It shows you things a peep or peep less system doesn't.

Then why stop there...whittle a stick and dry cat gut

I forgot you shoot Mathews...you are used to "simple"

I use a "no peep" and you don't, last time I checked we can both hit what we aim at . Personally I have never used a kisser button, but if it works for you that's awesome!
