I got a new Carbon Knight Camo RAK for Christmas.
Only got 100 arrows shot out of it so far.
Was funny when I went to sight it in. There were three of us with the identical bow side by each doing the same thing. Good thing I had an extra sticker on mine or we could not tell them apart when we hung them to retrieve our arrows :-)

What exactly is entailed in becoming a "factory staff shooter"? Do you have tournament commitments, performance minimums, etc? Just wondering

Can't really say what obligations we have as stated in the contract but we are not forced to attend, do or say anything we don't want to.

I would shoot Athens regardless and have for a few years. I really like the company and what they stand for as well as the bows they put out are some of the nicest bows out there.
If you want to shoot a top of the line bow with an exceptionally smooth draw, solid back wall, zero hand shock, has one of the best grip angles I have ever felt and shoots the lights out check out an Athens!

Funny I actually have Potty's Accomplice 34 from 2010 just put new limbs on it. Also had to increase the draw length when I got it

All Athens bows can be purchased direct from Athens for $849 USD and come in either Black powder coat or Next vista black camo.
Custom colors and dipping are available.

Its too bad more stores don't carry Athens. I like to look at and shoot as many bows as I can when buying new. Bought a new APA last year, I don't imagine I will be buying another bow anytime soon.

As far as 2015 bows go I have not looked too hard at them but I did find a Bear that interests me for my son:

I think one in Orange for my Tigger crazy kid would be awesome!

T and T archery in Sherwood Park and I also believe Bartons Big Country in Grande Prairie are Athens dealers.

Oh that's right! That was my first Athens bow...After I felt how amazing the draw cycle is, and the rock hard draw stop, I 've since gone to 86...It really pulls like 70 still!

86 lbs with a 26 inch draw gets you the same speed as 29.5 inch draw at 70 lbs .
