Default Next generation

With 6 grandsons under the age of eight , life around here is full of surprises and today was a pleasant one . When I got home with this coyote this morning I had 4 kids waiting to see what I had caught . The oldest boy noticed the snare on the neck and wanted to know what that was .. Great teaching opportunity ! That's how I caught this coyote and it is a snare and it killed him cause he couldn't breathe I explained , that's why you kids should never put things around your neck . We won't grandpa , was his reply . Tho I'm sure the 6 year old was probably the only one that will maybe remember , but at least the seed is planted .

Good job H380. Passing on our traditions is important to keep the outdoor lifestyle alive.

I'm not at the grandkids stage but am doing my best to introduce my young children to the outdoors. I'm not sure my three year old gets it but she is still talking about our day trapping muskrats.

Nice to see! It won't be long before you have company tagging along on your checks. Ya gotta like that.

Your looking at a 140$ min coyote right there. Lol. Nice to see the family get involved. Can't wait to take my boy out snaring in a few years. He's already grinning ear to ear when we go coyote hunting
