Rio Gold vs Rio Perception

Which is the better line or are both used in different applications? Any input and opinions would be appreciated.

I have used both and I personally I like more the perception. I think the head is heavier compare with the gold. I feel the rod loads way better with the perception, which at least for me, means more distance and less effort.

I haven't had the change to try the new intouch perception, but soon!

just for the record, I'm using a 5wt BVK rod with a 5wt perception.

How would you compare Perception with Rio Grande? I use Rio Grande and tried the Gold but did not like the lighter load Gold gave as it was not as heavy as you mentioned above with Perception.
