Default Edmonton Gun Show AO meet and greet

ok, here is what i got off the CHAS site

Quote:
CHAS gun show to be held Feb. 2 and 3
Be sure to attend the Canadian Historical Arms Society's 44th Annual Gun Show to be held Saturday February 2 and Sunday February 3, 2008.

The show will be held again this year at the Sportex building on the Northlands Exhibition grounds at 118 Avenue off Wayne Gretzky Drive. Hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is just $4 in advance or $5 at the door. All CHAS members in good standing receive five tickets to the show in conjunction with your membership. These tickets are being mailed to all members this week, and can either be given away or resold at your discretion.

We ask that you publicize this event as much as possible and extend an invitation to anyone you know who may be interested in attending.

Book your tables now!
Tables are available for just $45 for dealers or $10 for displays. Whether you'd like to display a collection or sell some items, this is your chance! Displays will be judged and prizes will be awarded.

Help out by volunteering a few hours!
We need a large number of volunteers to make our show a success, so need your help in making this happen. Assistance is needed on Friday afternoon and evening with set up, and throughout the weekend with the CHAS table, the entry area and event logistics. Whether you can spare a couple of hours or an entire day, we would greatly appreciate your help!

For more information, to book a table or to sign up to volunteer, please contact Al Leander at 466-2994 or by e-mail to aleander@shaw.ca.
Use this thread for AO members who are attending and want to meet up with other AO members

i say Saturday is best, say at 1PM? is that enough time for everyone, it closes at 6pm on saturday.

not that this is a big organized deal, more of a hey, i know you, handshake, share a beer and a few laughs deal.

comments, thoughts?

I would suggest where the beverages are served. (beer garden) if there is one.
If not by the concessions?

So do we look at going somewhere for wings and things later or just stick to the meet and greet?
