Default What is this rifle worth

Winchester Model 100 semi-auto in 308 Win. A friend has one and wanted to know what he should sell it for. Rifle is not bad shape.

Gotta know pre or post 1964
Run the serial # here:
http://armscollectors.com/sn/windates.htm
Then a few pictures would also help.
Also knowing the approximate round count would be desireable too.
Pre 64's bring a premium price often $150-$200 more than their post 64 Cousins.

Without further information an accurate value is hard to pin down.

Before you spout your totally wrong information Sickfast perhaps you should do some research. A post 64 in 80% condition will fetch about $400.00.

But like I said without further information and some photo's it's all a big ???

The Blue Book of Gun Values that i have was printed in 2005... It shows the model 100 was made from 1961 to 1973... in 100% condition is worth 500 bucks, 98% is 450, 95% is 400, 90% is 300, 80% is 250, 70% is 230 and 60% is 215 bucks... hope this helps...
