Default animal scoring

so I have never had any animal scored before and have a few question, do they need to be current t that year (shot in the same year as the scoring being done), is there any special info needed (I have my grandfathers racks for 60+ years ago), or is location needed. thanks for the input

They dont have to be current for the record books but you will have to prove that they were taken with proper equipment and within the rules of fair chase. If its for one of the hunting clubs (ABA, SABA etc) then they would need to be current to qualify for the annual awards.

I'd like to see the racks from your grandfather. I always like looking at those from days gone by. Interesting to see some real trophies taken with a lot of the primitive equipment they had then. It really makes me wonder what things were like hunting then

Anlers only grow during the vevet stage...if injured it grows into a ball or roundish....that was broke off during hard horn...most likely during sparring or fighting during pre rut...
