Hows the draw feel? Mathews are known to draw long ....the Defy may have shorter draw at same rated draw...

Sounds about right...if both draws being equal with Defy in specs...than the short valley is by design...not much you can do at that draw without changing specs...

The let off can be effecting you ....The Defy did Come in 65-75Percent let off... if its low let-off and your used to 80 percent it will feel very different
what does it say on cam...?

Also draw stops on the cams that can be adjusted to properly set the valley for let off. These stops should be all the way back, or out so you can maximize the let off and valley...however that will change draw also..longer

Not sure about the defy but I know they have 85% let off cam available for the alloy now.

Can you adjust your draw stops?

The newer PXCL cam will work on the Defy and offers greater letoff and valley. I beleive if your maxing out the letoff you will need to go with a 1/2 shorter cam to acheive the same drawlength.

As LA said best to check directly with G5 but should work.

The 2015 line up of Prime bows now have up-to 85% adjustable let off, I have placed the new PCXL cams in 3 Defys and have found an increase in speed in every case also. Give us a call and we can help you out. Thanks Lawrence

I was planning on getting some new strings until I seen this post. I haven't looked into the new cams. I'm just wondering if a guy were to get the new cams will you have to get new strings aswell?

Went out to see Lawrence about the issue I was having with my Defy and all I can say I WOW what a difference! I can hold this bow all day, and the valley and let off is like night and day compared to the original setup. If your looking for more valley and let off go see Lawrence out at Accurate Archery this guy knows bows and the service is unbelievable!!!
Thanks again Accurate Archery

Did it affect the speed at all?
