Planning on heading out to the Blackstone this weekend and I have never fished up there this late in the season. If anyone has been there this late, what might they recommend to go with? Any particular hatches that you know of? Thanks and hoping for some good fish.
Water temp on most of the streams is very low. Keep it very slow and deep, most Trout are either spawning or moving into their wintering holes.

Often I have been exhausted on trout streams, uncomfortable, wet, cold, briar scarred, sunburned, mosquito bitten,
but never, with a fly rod in my hand have I been in a place that was less than beautiful.
Good thing a couple of guys that I am going with are hunters and plan on packing in. As the blackstone fishing was going to be a break in their day. Besides what bear would turn down fresh fish if I managed to catch one.....or some peanut butter jam sandwiches lol.
