Default Considering a Junior Partner

I need to do a little expanding on my line and that requires getting further in the back country.
If you have the proper lic and have about three to four days a week , healthy, have some equipment and some history in the trapping industry.
A retired or semi retired individual would be best.
My line is the Livingston River SW of Longview AB wmu 402.
PM me with your info. Thanks

Default Amazing!

Hi Turbo, I sure was suprised to see you haven't got a response, or maybe you did via pm, but with all the ads in the ATA magazine for guys looking to get into trapping and the ATA saying there is a huge lineup and interest to get started on a line and get trapping it floors me that there is no response.

Maybe the clearing trail/work thing wasn't factored into all the enthusiasm to trap. It takes hard work to get a line to where you want it.

Have had a few interested but the time commitment is the killer. I'm not a weekend trapper.I 'm not really cutting new trail just some general clean up and bait site grooming. The trail system is quite established and extensive. Have one person that might work out.

Default Work

Glad you had some response. We are developing a line that has taken a couple years now to get a good start on. The wife and I spent a couple months this Summer and Fall and will repeat this year getting the trails good enough for quad/snowmobile travel. Very rewarding and lots of good exercise. We had a great seaon this Winter....still have some wolf gear out...Good luck to you!
