Episode 2: Crushed & Alone

Ken Hildebrand, a Canadian paramedic with years of mountain experience, has a freak accident and is left crushed under his quad bike on a remote hillside for four days. In a cruel twist of fate, childhood polio left Ken with one withered leg, but it’s the good one that is slowly being destroyed under 1000lbs of quad bike. Despite exceptional preparation for his trip, all his food and gear is just out of reach and the 55 year-old has nothing but a pen knife and his initiative to outwit the weather and hungry coyotes. The paramedic in him knows just how bad his injuries are. Years of mountain experience also leave him in no doubt as to his own increasing vulnerability to the predators watching and waiting in the forest. Will he be found in time?

I haven't viewed the whole thing you have here but it seems to be the same one that cbc aired maybe a year ago.. Is it the same ? If not, I'll have to give it another look. I haven't seen Ken since the happening but followed his recovery thru those closer to him..

Cat , Ken has been to Fort McMurray quite a bit. I seen him last week,came by my trap cabin to pick up a few things I had for him. Ken was heading out later that day on his quad to check some of his line out.

It may have been at a show last year that I saw him.....
