The trough is good but pricey. Crazy weed kitchen isn't bad either.

The poutine place (La Belle Potate) is great for more of a quick bite place. The Grizzly paw is a nice brew pub/restaurant.

Try the Mexican place at the end of Main Street. Their tacos are real good more like fajitas.

If you wanna get your meat sweat on check out Gaucho's. The multi-meat dinner is rather interesting. Servers come periodically to your table offering different kinds of meat, varying from chicken to pork to beef to lamb, and as much as you can handle. It's so good, but pace yourself!

Iron Goat, nice place, nice view at the top of Cougar Creek, a little pricey, but wth. You're in Canmore.

The effect of the downturn in the economy is easier to miss in Calgary.

But this little getaway has been very eye opening.
Our hotel has 4 guest rooms rented tonight.

And most every restaurant in town was empty or close to it by 7pm.

2 Shop owners in town were too busy on the phone stalling creditors to give us service.
One shop owner screaming on phone to CSR rep about data charges.

Wow just Wow

Default Canmore

I like the little French place in the green gables. It's been there almost 30 years and the owner is "getting on" but I like French cooking and it's still pretty good there. Just remembered the name "chez fransoise" or something like thst

Boston pizza.

It's the same, but with smokin hot outdoorsy uber-fit waitresses. Very few princesses in that town.

Meateor pizza, cold beer, hot women. Dang I miss that place.

x2!! The only disappointing thing is they don't have the BBQ'd pineapple like Bolero's.
I haven't been to the Canmore location though.

Of course in the lull and early in the week, but that was part of my regular Sales territory for 7 years making calls on hotels and restaurants there a night or 2 in each and every month of the year.

This feels ominous and different.

You gotta buy a package and they insist everyone at the table have the same package. side dish menu is limited. Got sucked in once, family occasion, not again. Grizzly Paw is good. Always Boston Pizza.

There is one reason, and one reason only that you go to a Brazillian BBQ restaurant. And a side dishe is not it.
