Default Dry fly swap interest?

Hey all, I'm just getting back in the swing of things with my fly tying this last bit and I was wondering what the interest levels would be on doing a dry fly swap? I'd be willing to host one or participate in one if there is any other tiers out there who would want to join in. Figured now would be a good time to get the ball rolling on one with all the time a lot of us will have on our hands with Christmas holidays coming up. Let me know!

You should limit it to 10 people and put out some simple rules to follow.

Rule 1 have a specific start date. Christmas is not the best time to have a swap. Everyone is busy. So try January.

Rule 2 Post a list all the participants. So everyone knows who is tying what fly and then edit it as the flies arrive to you.

Rule 3 have a specific date as to when the flies have to arrive to you. That way if someone doesn't get their flies in on time your not waiting forever. Just skip them and carry on.

Rule 4 be firm on the rules. Don't be wishy washy.

Those are basic rules to follow.

I'll be in if you start a list for January. I'll tie 10 elk hair caddis.

I think a dry fly swap would be great this year as I don't believe we had any at all last year. I've been looking forward to fly swaps for a while now!

So I'd be in also, with my own variation of a letort hopper. Based off it anyways, I don't know what else to call it haha

Sounds good kingfisher, I'll limit it to 10 tiers and give everyone till January 31st to get their flies in to me. Everyone can start tying as soon as they want, as long as they have their flies to me by the end of January. Once we have a full list I will PM everyone my mailing address. Oh, and if you could also include an envelope with postage and your home address so I can easily send flies back to you that would be great.
So far our list is as follows:
1.Kritofr-Barrets golden stone
2.kingfisher-elkhair caddis
3.mattpreat-letort hopper variation
4.burningfreak-to be announced

If you've still got room, please put me in for a High-vis Parachute Adams.

Glad to see this filling up so quickly. We've got room for one more tier. Also, could I ask that when you send me your flies you include your username so I can post pictures of who tied what? thanks!

This is the list of confirmed tiers, we have room for 1 more guy. Off in the bushes, you put your name in first so I'll give priority to you but would you mind tying something other than an elkhair caddis as kingfisher is already tying that?

I had to work nights over Christmas so I ended up bringing in my tying stuff and belting off my ten flies over the course of a couple sessions. Thought I'd give you all a little preview.

And here's a couple pics of fish I caught using this fly last summer

I got thinking while I was tying these, if everyone could ship their flies in some sort of a small container so they don't get crushed I'd just toss the fly selections back into them when I send them back. Obviously not in anything too big, a small box or chew tin would probably work fine.(cleaned out of course)

I was thinking about sending my flies in a empty .22 box, one of the plastic ones with the sliding top.
