Default Dog GPS tracking

Just looking for a little information about a GPS tracking device for the dog. Looking for something that is durable and long distance, say up to 5 miles. Anyone have any experience with these and which are good ones to buy and which to stay away from. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Default Dog GPS tracking

Try Trax family/pet tracker. It’s relatively cheap and as long as you have cell service you can find your dog. Has about 24hrs battery life.

The Trax Play is the older model. Works fairly well and you can find it still on Amazon I believe.

I just picked up a Sport Tek 1 with e collar. Up to 7 miles radius and GPS with e collar. Got a good deal on a pre owned one.

Depends on what your needs are ..... a simple gps collar for the city where there is cell service works for most pets.

In our case, we go out in the sticks with the dogs so we have the SportDog gps/tracker.

Super Expensive BUT It has 24 hour battery life, waterproof and no need to be in an area where cell reception is needed - it will track your dog 10 miles from you anywhere the dog goes.

If you are hunting, or your dog is a runner, you go out of town and into the mountains or woods, and you need to be 100% guaranteed you will find your dog and know where's going - that's the ticket.
