Default Co-op shareholder refund.

If you are over 65 and have a coop membership you may be entitled to your equity back while maintaining your rebate.

Ask at the customer service counter. There is a form to fill out.

Thanks for that, my Dad hasn't used his account in many years, the money would help him out.

You can also cash out for other reasons before 65, moving as the primary example. Its a detail that many forget about.

How true ^

It's one of the reasons Co-op has so much cash in its coffers ... 'unclaimed equity'!

When u hit 70 you can get the other half out
Got 2 more years to wait. Then I can make a big hunting purchase. Probably a new side by side.
