2012 chev equinox nav screen/ reverse lights issue

Noticed yesturday the back up camera dont work, put in reverse and the screen just goes black, yet the reverse lights stay on even while in drive. Anybody ever have this issue or know anybody having one simular? Gm hasent ran into this problem yet and has no idea. Any help would be awsome fellas
