Default A Baby in a Bag.

No more stretch marks....

While this is Amazing, when learning about these new advancements in technology I have to wonder, Should we go down this road?

Biobag Babies
http://calgaryherald.com/health/arti...a-eebeaf2f71ab

"On that last point, she adds in an interview, there’s a lot of confusion not only about how pregnant women should behave — yes to weight gain but not too much, no to soft cheeses, coffee and cola — but how much responsibility they should have for a developing fetus.

“We’ve really become muddled about why it’s her in particular that has to make all these sacrifices,” Smajdor argues, “given that we live in a world where there are many environmental factors that can be detrimental to fetuses, like pollution.”

What’s more, advances in fetal imaging are already opening once unimagined portals into the world of the unborn, changing what we can see, and what medicine can do. “And so long as that fetus is in a human woman, women are going to be subjected to more, rather than less medical intervention in pregnancy,” Smajdor argues. If that’s the trajectory we’re on, full ectogenesis may be better for women, she says."

Don't care if they come up with a seed you can plant in the back yard. Still don't want one

Or factories full of bags.

Let this technology brew in your brain.

Obvious agricultural implications, be it cows or "sheep" for the slaughter.

Could be a huge new market for Kuiu backpacks.

It may be an advancement in technology but it's not an advancement in humanity.

This is not a "gender equalizer" - there are two genders, different but equal.

It's not an "injustice" that a uterus is still a necessary part of reproduction.

"Gives single or gay men an alternative to surrogacy."

Ectogenesis as a form of convenience.

"We've really become muddled about why it's her in particular that has to make all these sacrifices."

That's a bit of a grey area still. Ever wonder why men have nipples? Because we are all conceived female, the Y chromosome doesn't kick in til 6 to 10 weeks.

I can see all the guys googling now

Just because this is coming out now doesn't mean that this perversion of nature hasn't been happening for a long time now...

Is this how gender bending celebrities have their babies breed?

Brave new world indeed...

Actually, it's a thoroughly artificial world, populated by a privileged minority. The real world is still having scads of babies the old fashioned way and has no need of this crap.

We are devolving our species.

In a thought, through medical advancements we are keeping the weak alive and they are surviving to pass along those genes and traits.

Over time we are devolving to the point of generations that will need medical intervention just to survive. The days of only the strong surviving and passing down those genetics are thousands of years gone but it gets worse every decade. Playing god will not help humans as a species and should only go so far.

On the flip side, if I had a child born premature who needed this to save it's life I would want to use it. Who cares about the future of humans when it comes down to survival of a family member??

I think we will constantly be seeing more life threatening allergies and sicknesses passed down since those that used to be fatal were not passed to future generations are now passed down.

When I read the header I thought someone was bringing back the old 'baby' jokes...from the 70's (and they were so bad).
Example:
Q. What's cold and blue?
A. A baby in a plastic bag.
There were more...and they were all terrible.

Maybe their is yet another option?...
