Good old thread.
I do pyro and professional fireworks as a hobby job. Its a lot of fun and you get to meet some cool people. For example, a few years back I ate lunch with Tommy Lee while working for Motley Crue while they were in town. Heading to the Philippines in March for an international pyro musical competition, cant wait!

Pretty much every spare minute I can hunting, fishing, prepping gear, prepping for anything outside. The kids sports gobble up damn near every free minute I have, but keeps them off the electronics

My past time is spent doing things out doors.
Fishing, hunting, sight seeing, scouting, walking,,, at night time I find ways to improve my gear.
Then continue to test and modify.
All season gear is the best

I recently tried my first moose antler carving. I'm far from good but found it very fun. Not sure if it's a hobby yet....

since I got my retriever she takes up most of my spare time,
(in this area everyone thinks I'm weird & strange because I'd rather spend my time working with my dog then sitting gossiping in the local restaurant)
but when its way to cold outside for both her and I
I have come to the conclusion
one day I'm going to design a remote dummy/bird launcher
that actually works and is feasible to market ,
haven't had much success at that yet though, (reason is I don't know anything about the electronics needed, transmitter and receivers ),
but it wont ever happen if I give up trying, how's that old saying go???,
if you don't aim for the top you will never get there

My old dog used to collect photos of road-kill cats, and stuck them on the side of the stove above his food dish.
We bring home free dog-poop bags from different towns/cities for our new dog's collection. She has to display them out of direct sunlight though - because the new 'bio-degradable' ones break down quickly!
