Michelin makes a good winter tire for big trucks but they are not cheap

We use Sailun s737 at the coal mine... I'm a warehouse slave though, so I can't provide feedback on their longevity, grip or comfort! I just know they're a big pain in my butt to pick and deliver to the tire yard!

Can’t beat The big names but I tried some Aeolus at fountain tire on a couple of my tractors. Virgin casings, decent price point, good traction and decent life so far .

I had good luck with Toyo and Hankook during the last few years before i sold my trucks and retired. Used to use Michelin exclusively back in the day but it seemed they started making them with to soft a sidewall for my liking.

Everyone will have different opinions im sure.

I run the Goodyear G282 on all my tridrives. Best tires i have found yet for tridrives. Ran the michellins before but the michelins are too soft and they wear way to fast.

Is it just a farm truck or are you going to work?

I wish I could offer some guidance here but I have not been in medium truck stuff for over 20 years now. Back in the day Michelin was always a top notch product and their casing seem to be the best for retreading later but whether or not that is still the case I cannot say for sure.

Always ran Kuhmo KMD36’s for drives when hauling production fluids, they seemed to stand up fairly well. And are really good in snow and mud. I generally got between 100,000-115,000 km on a set they are reasonably priced and had a great balance between on and off road. Steers that’s a different story Michelin all the way.
