Default My wife made a killer find!!!

It was a hard earned and unexpected find and it couldn't have happened to a better person. I had researched this location last year, but considering how far of a hike it is and considering I have two children, it has taken us a year to finally get back in there to it.
Well, the wait paid off. Check this out

I love watching your videos!
Could that brass thing your friend found be a thumb lever for a powder flask maybe?

Thanks man! Glad you are enjoying the videos!
The brass piece, someone told me goes to the key guard on an old leather satchel. But it is definitely up for debate.

Yes, it stands for Confederate States of America. And although Georgia was a member, this button is a very rare find for even around these parts. The Confederate soldiers just didn't have the financial backing that the Unions troops had. Many Confederates fought in homemade clothes sent to them from home.
Thanks so much for watching my videos everyone. I really do appreciate it! Hope they are entertaining.
