I think I saw on Facebook that Dar Heatherington was throwing her hat into the race.

I'm not surprised the attempt was made, and I'm not surprised the offer was rejected.

The next Alberta election (2016?) can't come too soon!

It'd be a step up from Redford. At least when she goes crazy she pays her own way.

Political parties merge all the time.

Do you recall the CRAP group of parties composed of the Conservatives, Reform & Alliance Parties.

The PCs were lead at merger by Peter McKay who told the membership several weeks earlier that a merger wouldn't happen. Well, the promise of becoming Deputy PM was more than he could resist so merge the PCs did becoming Conservatives but no longer Progressives.

Life goes on and politicians explore power.

the pc's could run jesus as their leader and i'd still vote wild rose. seems mr. prentice has his head stuffed in the same smelly place as the rest of the pc's to think the wr would want to heard all the rats onto their ship.
