Default Fish Inn Ice Shelters at Costco

Does anyone have any experience with these and can provide some comments on their quality? The fabric is 600 denier which is comparable to the Clam and heavier than the Eskimo Fatfish.

The price is great in comparison with either the Clam's or Eskimos. I've looked at each of these and the Clam is heavier fabric but securing the unit to the ice seems to be better in the Eskimo.

I think if the Fish Inn is decent qaulity and comparable to either of the above then it may be worth it.

Any feedback you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I had the 2 man popup last season and it was great used heavily for the whole season and held up so well it was like new when I sold it.

Only reason I got rid of it was I wanted a flipover for hole hoppin'.

I got the 2 man in January. I've used it several times and had no issues. It held up really well in the huge winds at Spray yesterday. Good size too.

me and a few buddies bought the 6 man this year, works great but not the easiest thing to pack away.
the straps that wrap around the tent to hold it together when folded down tend to snap.
but other than that its a great tent for the money.

Great Tent, I have the 6 man. The straps are to short that store the tent. You'll have to buy some longer ones.

I've used mine for over 20 trips this season and I can confirm what others have said here. I don't bother with the carry bag it came with - I just roll it up and throw it in my sled. You won't find a better tent for $180.

For the straps I bought black Velcro in bulk from Wal-Mart craft dept.
4' long so you can get 3 double sided straps for around $5
