Does anyone here on the forum know if bear spray works on cougars too? If so can you direct a person to any research there may be or has been on the subject. There seems to be a lot more cougars throughout the province the last few years and I am curious to know if bear spray will repel a cougar attack too.
bear spay or pepper sprayis ussually made from the resin of caspicum peppers which acts as an irritant. it should work on any animal but there is always exceptions, some people or animals just don't react to it, like how some people can eat spicey food and others can't
