Congrats on a wicked ram! There aren't many rams over 9.5 running around in Alberta anymore which makes a ram like that extra special. Way to go!

There's lots over 9.5, they're just in NP.

Ramcrazy,

Did you remove the horn sheaths, boil the skull and bondo them back on fairly soon after shooting him and still had that much shrinkage? not sure if you can bondo rams like you can Antelope to help in reducing the shrinkage on the bases? just a question fine sir.

In my mind, any ram that someone is willing to post on here is a great ram, and all the guys questioning the age, insinuating that he stained the horns, etc, just make other sheep hunters not want to post their rams.

Or grown men can grown some thicker skin.... there will always be critics no matter where you go or what you do.

Sounds like a great hunt. An unplanned night in the bush always seems to have great happenings.
Congratulations!

Beauty ! I truly appreciate those that sheep hunt. The amount of prep and work involved is more than I can handle.
Congratulations well done.

A fine ram. Nothing like sheep ribs over the campfire after a good hunt.

Thanks for all the replies. This sheep hunting is an addiction that you can't shake once you've started. Here's a couple more pics.
